Daniil Zinchenko

One half of the group Vverkh! (Upwards!), which was formed in 2010, Zinchenko creates video works based on his fascination with the history of Russian cosmism. The video diptych Yu165 (2011) uses modernist techniques such as narrative fragmentation and repetition to explore the reverberations of Russian cosmism in contemporary culture and the possibilities involved in its visual representation.
