Melding installation, photography, collage and sculpture with an aesthetic that harks back to modernist design, Moscow-based Anya Titova investigates the fluctuating relationships between representation, found objects and the uncertainties of social interaction. Her work was included in ILLUMInations, the main exhibition of the 2011 Venice Biennale, as well as the 2nd Moscow International Biennale for Young Art in 2012, and Manifesta 10 in St Petersburg this year.
