Instagram newbies launched @poland.street.view earlier this year to show Poland to restless travellers stuck at home during lockdown. Google Maps produce their photographs via camera-toting cars, with difficult-to-reach areas documented by foot and sometimes even on a tricycle. The account selects photos that gives a sense of everyday life across the country.
Dog lovers will be delighted with the variety of canines pictured wandering city streets. The account is not without a sense of humour, showing the moment a romantic bridge photo shoot is crashed by a random dog.
Cows, too, have a significant presence on the account.
@poland.street.view features a host of idiosyncratic characters, from market sellers in parking lots to lone wanderers crossing golden wheat fields.
