Alexandra Melnikova (b. 1990, Shushenskoe) is a Tyumen-based interdisciplinary artist. She works with different media from painting and sculpture to photography, installation, and performance. In her practice, Melnikova explores the reflection of the world around us in the intimate inner world, as well as transformations of memory, mutations of personal histories and their conversion into general life context; search for meaning in the most insignificant everyday things; art as a sacred secret language.
