Unsound Krakow has released its first sneak peek of the festival line-up taking over the city’s electronic stages.

With events in Poland and across Europe, the festival has fast become a New East institution for exploring upcoming music talent.

Some of the young musicians taking to the stage include the UK’s Ben UFO, Kampire, DJ Storm, and the ever-masked DJ Replacement Bus Service.

This year’s event will see visual artist Sam Rolfes team up with collective House of Kenzo and producer Rabit to release Magna Surgat (The Great Awakening): a real time 3D performance using motion capture technology.

Other musicians will be embracing the festival’s theme of Presence by encouraging listeners to slow down and focus on the moment.

They include Terry Riley, who will be performing his own ambient, minimalist tracks — inspired both by jazz and classical Indian music — at a special show deep in the Wieliczka Salt Mine.

Unsound takes place from 7 — 14 October. To book your tickets, or to see the full line up, visit the festival website here.
