Unlike all the brutalism accounts out there, there is nothing dramatic about Bartek Dworski’s (known also as @le.nin.grad) photographs of neighborhoods in his native Poland. In fact, they actually bring about a sense of comfort and serenity.
The only thing breaking up the monotony of the beige and grey apartment blocks are the bright clothes and flowers decorating the orderly balconies. For true architecture buffs, most of the facades on this account have escaped any kind of modern renovation.
Dworski doesn’t trying to overwhelm you with any encyclopaedic knowledge of architects, dates, and styles. The account is nothing but a love letter to simple socialist housing estates, for your scrolling pleasure.
