ISSP International Masterclass, a year-long mentorship programme for emerging photographers, is calling for participants to join its fourth edition.
This is an opportunity for recent graduates and self-taught photographers across the world to develop their personal projects under the guidance of renowned photographers.
This year’s programme will commerce in October 2019 under the supervision of American photographer, editor, and author Jason Fulford and UK-based documentary photographer and photography professor Lisa Barnard.
As well as regular online feedback on their long-term projects, mentees will have three workshop sessions in Latvia, Lithuania, and Sicily.
Invited industry experts — including photography editors, critics, and curators — will also be on hand to offer their experience and in-depth feedback as part of the programme.
The programme builds on 13 years of experience running the International Summer School of photography in Latvia, as well as other non-commercial ISSP education and cultural exchange projects.
Applications are due by 25 June 2019. Get acquainted with the diverse work produced over the past three editions of the mentorship programme here. To learn more about ISSP, read our interview with its founder, Julija Berkovica.
