Founded in 2010, Ukrainian fashion brand DZHUS has established its avant-garde aesthetic with strong silhouettes and folding, transforming panels to encase the wearer in their own inner sanctuary.
But if previous collections styled garments as intricate shells for rich inner worlds, then the designer’s latest offering, AW19, is a step bigger and bolder. Larger and more structural than ever before, the collection has shifted to embody high couture exoskeletons which empower and impress in a rapidly-changing world.
But if the brand has its sights set higher than before, it’s also keeping certain principles close to heart. The label, which has traditionally used cruelty-free materials, has also opted for eco-friendly hemp insulation, engineered by DevoHome.
