With hourglass dresses, spray-painted denim, and delicate, flower-shaped embroidery, the latest collection from Kyiv-based fashion label Ksenia Schnaider is a modern twist on feminine classics.

Moving away from more gender neutral demi-denims that brought them world fame in 2016, the husband-and-wife team Ksenia and Anton Schnaider are now embracing and redefining millennial femininity.

Ksenia compares this new stage to a kind of teenage transformation: “Essentially, this collection is symbolic of my journey to hearing my own voice again. I love how bold it turned out,” she says.

The stand-out piece of the collection is a daring cowboy-meets-50s-girl inspired look. It’s precisely the eclectic style mix, striking colour-scheme, and varied textures that make Schnaider’s latest works feel so fresh and timely in a fast-paced interconnected global world.
