Architectural studio DJA has built a meandering public path and terrace in the heart of Latvia’s Sajūtu Park (or Park of the Senses in English), by the northern city of Valmiera.

Elegantly curved, the pine and larch-wood structure, prunes from the asphalt road, to offer a place for contemplation on the bank of the river Gauja. Perfectly integrated into the forest, the terrace is raised on a platform to avoid the floods typical of the area.
