Russia’s beloved poet, Alexander Pushkin, is getting his own theme park in St Petersburg.
Called Lukomorye, like the fictional land of Pushkin’s epic poem Ruslan and Ludmila, the park will cover an indoor area of 17,000 square metres, which will be open all year round, and an outdoor area of two hectares, available for the warmer half of the year.
Alongside palaces, harbours, and cities imagined by the literary giant, the park will include a walkthrough experience based on the writer’s life, as well as two scary rides.
Lukomorye is expected to open in Pushkinsky District of Saint Petersburg in 2023.
