Arts and culture mag Amnesia is bringing their carefully curated history of Ukrainian pop culture into your timeline with Instagram account @amnesia.in.ua.
The Amnesia team describe themselves as Ukraine’s “pop culture archeologists”. Their account spans the dizzying distances between post-war photography, accounts of Soviet punks and hippies, some of the sexiest magazine photoshoots of the 90s, and glimpses into the more recent Ukrainian music scene.
There’s also an introduction to Ukrainian painting, from the 1920s avant garde to late 90s conceptual photography.
And more curiously, you’ll get to see the man with the world’s tallest hat — as well as his 19th-century pals.
