Start scrolling if you want to travel vicariously to the ancient Georgian town of Gori, with a little help from @goriphotographers.

Blending the distinctive styles and aesthetics of a whole team of photographers, the Instagram account steps into the everyday lives of Gori’s 46,000 inhabitants: whether at home or on the city’s streets, joining political gatherings or marking rites of passage.

Founded in 2018, the Gori Photographers Club showcases and sells prints of portraits, landscapes, and reportage photography from eastern Georgia. Together, they say they hope “to initiate social changes [and] develop the field of art in our community.”
