Reimagine the urban future of Vilnius and London through immersive radio and interactive walks

If you’d like to expand your architectural imagination, this one’s for you: the Architektūros Foundation and the Lithuanian Cultural Attaché in the UK are organising a series of events where architects and urban planners invite audiences to explore the future developments of cities.

Part of the London Festival of Architecture, the programme includes a radio broadcast featuring conversations, urban plays, field recordings, and music from Vilnius and London. The show will be streamed live on 26 June at 11 AM GMT by Palanga Street Radio before going online here.

Those based in the UK or Lithuania can also join the live Neofuturistic Walks in Nine Elms, in Vauxhall, London and Naujininkai-Kirtimai in Vilnius, where spatial practitioners Aušra Česnauskytė and Goda Verikaitė will help participants understand the urban problems faced by each area — and challenge them to come up with their own solutions. The walks will take place at 3pm GMT, and you can join for free by signing up here.
