Vogue Russia will celebrate its 15th anniversary next month with a large-scale exhibition of the best in Russian fashion at the Moscow Multimedia Art Museum. The exhibition of around 100 photographs will present the best in Russian design as well as a number of iconic fashion shoots.
In addition, a collector’s edition of Vogue Russia will be published at the end of November, featuring portraits of leading Russian figures such as the ballerina and actress Ida Rubinstein, poet Joseph Brodsky, writer Vladimir Nabokov and artist Marc Chagall.
Victoria Davydova, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Russia, said: “I am proud of the fact that modern fashion is in large part created in Russia. In Vogue’s collector issue we’ve put together the best footage devoted to Russia, its genius, beauty, fashion, art and nature as well as some ordinary people.” The exhibition will run from 2 December to 26 January 2014.
