Magnum photographer’s Sochi exhibition to go on show in Moscow

The forgotten Circassians, the Cossack revival and the Islamic insurgency in the nearby Caucasus. These are just some of themes covered in Beyond Sochi, an exhibition featuring the work of Magnum photographer Thomas Dworzak at Moscow’s Pobeda Gallery next month. Dworzak was commissioned by National Geographic to create a portrait of Sochi ahead of the Winter Olympics in February. In addition to these images, Dworzak took photos on his iPhone and polaroid camera, all of which are in the exhibition. Beyond Sochi runs from 6 February to 6 March at Pobeda Gallery.
