TranzitStore, a pop-up shop showcasing Slovenian and British independent design, opens today as part of the London Design Festival.

Bringing together 20 Slovenian and British brands and designers in the fields of fashion, furniture and product design, TranzitStore aims to promote creativity, quality and sustainability in design. The products on offer are all either completely new to the UK market or not readily available, and are united by a shared aesthetic and focus on collaborative craftsmanship.

The pop-up is curated by Petra Green, founder of Room39, an independent interior decor brand and online store also based in London. Brands and designers exhibiting alongside Room39 are Gavin Coyle product and furniture design, Zulu Zion Socks, Anja Slapnicar Ceramics and Firma by Sanja Womenswear.

TranzitStore forms part of the Shoreditch Design Triangle, an event celebrating local art, creativity and collaboration in the borough during the London Design Festival from 19 to 27 September. TranzitStore will be open from 21 to 26 September, and is located close to Old Street station.
