The Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design in Moscow has launched a new educational programme of lectures, screenings and activities for the winter season.
“The winter public programme will operate as a pop-up, that is to say as a series of spontaneous events: we’re going to experiment with the old formats of Strelka events, lectures and workshops,” said the director of public programmes, Daria Shulga.
Ms Shulga added that on Saturdays from 21 November – 26 December the Institute will host a free workshop on gamification – the application of elements of game playing, such as competition and point-scoring, to other spheres of life. In addition, there will be storytelling for children, a weekly TV-club, and Speed Language events, which work similarly to speed dating nights, except that participants are looking for a foreign language teacher.
All events require registration as capacity is limited.
