The Mixtape 32: Kiev House

The new Kiev music underground is making its mark on the international scene: its parties are wild and the music producers are daring and gifted. Our new mixtape compiled by Maksim Sikalenko, founder of Kiev House Records, explores the Ukrainian capital’s emerging house movement. “I put together this mix titled Kiev House comprised of unreleased new tracks from the new wave of Kiev’s underground music producers,” Sikalenko says. “The main aim of the series of podcasts that this mix belongs to is the search for Kiev sound. Producers featured here all live and party in Kiev, and their musical identity is shaped by the city.”
