Today the Moscow metro is launching a special train featuring an interactive exhibition on the works of Shakespeare.
The Shakespearian Passions exhibition train will run on the metro’s Filovskaya line and will present the playwright’s works in traditional style, as well as in a more contemporary interpretation, using the language of internet symbols. In addition, the train carriages will host internet information points where passengers can learn more about Shakespeare, play games and take part in competitions.
Shakespearian Passions forms part of the extensive programme organised to mark the UK-Russia Year of Language and Literature 2016, as well as the 400th anniversary year of Shakespeare’s death.
