Polish photographer Marta Zgierska’s Post series draws on her experience of a serious car crash to produce an intimate depiction of trauma, tension and silence.
“I was close to death, and reality – one that I had been adapting to with difficulty – slipped through my fingers. [...] I started taking the first photographs as a way of incarnation of fear in an aesthetic image,” the photographer told This Is Paper.
