Russian designer Victoria Nurislamova creates type-inspired ceramics

Check out these fascinating typeface-inspired ceramics by Moscow-based designer Victoria Nurislamova.

Nurislamova developed the Structura typeface, made up of six separate elements. She then translated the forms of individual letters into unconventional ceramic pieces. Her Slip ceramic collection can certainly be described as quirky, with items taking on unusual shapes. The series features the individual letterforms within the structure of each object, as well as in the packaging and identity of the collection as a whole.
