A cement plant in the Russian Ural city of Yekaterinburg is set to become home to a tower based on the Winterfell castle from Game of Thrones.
According to the plant’s director general, Rinat Brylin, the two-storey tower will be constructed with the help of a 3D-printer, and will measure six metres high and three metres in width.
“Ultimately, it will be a watchtower, but instead of warriors and knights there will be security,” said Mr Brylin, adding that the tower will be printed in its entirety, rather than in parts.
