Keanu Reeves takes the lead in thriller Siberia

Hollywood star Keanu Reeves is set to star as American diamond trader Lucas in upcoming romantic thriller Siberia.

The film, which will start filming later this year, sees Lucas venture deep into Siberia after the disappearance of his business partner, later finding himself engaged in a passionate love affair with a local girl.

Directed by Matthew Ross, much of Siberia takes place in a small Siberian town. How much filming will actually take place in Russia has yet to be revealed, however.
