The music video for Upside Down & Inside Out already made history when American rock band OK Go collaborated with Siberian airline S7 to make the world’s first zero gravity music video. Now the video is soaring to new heights, picking up a nomination for Best Music Video at this year’s GRAMMYs.
Released on 11 February 2016, the video for Upside Down & Inside Out sees the band members pulling off some spectacular moves due to the weightlessness produced by the parabolic flight path of a reduced gravity aircraft. The band was assisted by two aerial acrobats, Tatyana Martynova and Anastasia Burdina, clad in S7 cabin crew uniforms.
The winners of the 59th GRAMMY Awards will be announced at a ceremony on 12 February. Check out the full list of nominees here.
