Renowned photographer David LaChapelle’s short film for fashion brand Diesel’s spring-summer “Make Love Not Walls” campaign stars none other than Ukrainian ballet sensation Sergei Polunin.
A celebration of diversity, the film is a less than subtle dig at a number of US President Donald Trump’s policies — not least his plans to build a border wall with Mexico. Look out for the rainbow-coloured tank.
27-year-old dancer Polunin, who at 19 was the youngest ever principal dancer of the Royal Ballet, is also set to star in two Hollywood movies — he has been cast in Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express and the upcoming spy thriller Red Sparrow.
