You could be forgiven for thinking that French clothing brand Lacoste’s sleek new spot was filmed in Paris. In fact, those with a keen eye may have noticed that part of the short film, titled Timeless, was shot in Budapest’s grand Nyugati Railway Station.
Styled as a 1930s Parisian train station, the Nyugati provides the backdrop for the beginning of a love story and epic quest that spans a number of eras, with Lacoste’s classic polo shirt a constant throughout.
The Nyugati does have a French connection, however: it was built in 1877 by the Eiffel Company, of tower fame!
