Want to get the lowdown on the best eastern European bands and music artists? Enter Newkidsfromthebloc, the new video channel that gives you insight into the “ones to watch” (and listen to) from the region, paired with a healthy dose of fun.

Born of the Budapest Showcase Hub festival, an event dedicated to featuring the best eastern European bands and bringing together the region’s wider music industry community, Newkidsfromthebloc aims to introduce acts to a wider, international audience.

Publishing new content each week, Newkidsfromthebloc features artist profiles, guides to the music industry, humorous clips and collaborations with featured bands. Among the acts to have already collaborated with the channel are Alise Joste from Latvia, Kate NV from Russia and Budapest-based Black Bartók.
