Russia’s most prominent streetwear festival, Faces&Laces, will once again take place in Gorky Park this weekend, August 12-13. True to its motto — “We support the Underground” — Faces&Laces will feature the best of both domestic and foreign streetwear brands, promoting the local subcultures of Russian’s underground fashion world and beyond.
The 2017 program will have more stages than ever, and will stretch across the entire area of Gorky Park. Visitors can expect to be enraptured by live music, large-scale art constructions and delicious street food as well as exhibitis from independent streetwear brands as they wander through one of Moscow’s most renowned parks.
One of the most anticipated new features is SNEAKERNESS, an exhibit of the most influential sneaker collections, designers, resellers and brands who are driving the industry forward today. Extreme sports events and workshops will also be present in the form of skate parks and auto body shops.
Participants include Sole Fesh, Plan B Jeans and Siberian clothing brand Taiga, whilst Vans, The North Face and Reebok Classic are advertised as partners to the festival.
