London Russian Ballet School and Bolshoi Ballet in performance for 700 schoolchildren

7 September 2017

On 18 September, the London Russian Ballet School (LRBS) will perform together with dancers from Moscow’s Bolshoi Ballet for 700 underprivileged schoolchildren from the London borough of Lambeth at the London Palladium.

As part of the school’s outreach programme, Katerina Krysanova, Semyon Chudin, Maria Alexandrova and Vladislav Lantratov of the Bolshoi will dance together with LRBS students in a performance of Romantic Revolution.

Such performances are made possible by the association that was formed between LRBS and the Bolshoi Ballet following the sixtieth anniversary summer tour of the Bolshoi Ballet. The programme’s patron is Dame Gillian Lynne, a renowned international choreographer and director. LRBS is a vocational charity that teaches ballet to young people from diverse backgrounds, providing ballet training by Russian-trained teachers.

Romantic Revolution will take place at the London Palladium on 18 September. For tickets and information on how to sponsor a child’s seat please visit the LRBS website.
