The St Petersburg-born New York-based artist Anton Ginzburg will have his films on display at the Whitechapel Gallery on 1 October.
The artist is known for his investigations into historical narratives and poetic studies of place, representation and post-Soviet identity.
The screening, curated by Katya Chitova, will host the 35-minute Turo (2016) and a programme of short films: Constructivist Drift (2016), Displacements (2015), Pan (2014), and Cut (2014), which will be followed by a Q&A with curator and the Calvert 22 Foundation Programme Manager Will Strong.
Ginzburg also took part in Calvert 22 Foundation’s Power and Architecture season.
The screening at Whitechapel Gallery takes place on 1 October at 3pm. Tickets are available to book online here.
