Follow of the week: your favourite bands transformed into marvellous Polish poster art

Illustrator and designer Dawid Ryski, known on Instagram as @talkseek, has a background in landscape architecture but is most well known for his music posters for various musicians — from Kings of Leon to Beach House, Daft Punk to Sophie Ellis-Bextor — with which he reimagines traditional music imagery and draws on the rich history of Polish poster tradition.

Ryski who is based in Puławy near Warsaw also does commerial illustrations for media and publishing but says that music-related illustration, be it cover art for albums or tour posters, has been his obsession since he was a teenager, doodling his favourite bands’ logos in his school notebooks.
