Moscow-based artist Evgeny Ches is bringing an urban edge to Russia’s woodlands by reimagining the traditional street art canvas.
Shunning walls and concrete for cellophane, Ches creates his semi-transparent canvas by wrapping sheets of plastic across different trees. He then creates images which inject a touch of magic into the woodland landscape: including dinosaurs, polar bears, and giant woodland creatures.
Once the photos are taken, Ches dismantles his work, ensuring that the natural landscape remains untouched and unspoiled.
