Gosha Rubchinskiy’s Russian skate brand PACCBET has revealed its latest collaboration with US clothing label Carhartt WIP.
This 12-item line sees Rubchinskiy and PACCBET co-founder Tolia Titaev rework classic Carhartt WIP pieces, infusing the line’s iconic boxy and oversized fits with the gritty edge of the early ‘90s skate scene. The designs also use the iconic Carhartt WIP font used to spell out the PACCBET’s cyrillic logo, translated as “Sunrise” in English.
The campaign look book seeks to capture the same spirit as Rubchinskiy’s 2014 photobook Crimea/Kids, travelling to the region once more to capture images of the peninsula’s street scene.
The РАССВЕТ Х Carhartt WIP collection is avaliable from London’s Dover Street Market and Carhartt WIP stores from January 24. To see the look book in full, click here.
