Russian concept store Sektsiya has launched its latest lookbook laced with an absurd edge of playful surrealism.
Shot by Ukrainian photographer Vitalik Melnikov, the series elevates and reimagines everyday objects as stylish accessories.
Flavoured with nods to surrealist icons such as Dali’s Lobster Telephone, the lookbook reclaims children’s toys in the guise of shoes, headpieces and jewellery.
Launched in 2017, Sektsiya is the only outlet in Moscow’s exclusive GUM department store to stock products exclusively from Russian designers. The team currently works with brands including Sorelle, Outlaw, and Erma.
