Russian rapper Husky’s new video is Trainspotting set in Georgia

19 April 2018

One of the stars of Russia’s mainstream rap scene, Husky, has released a new dark and gritty video shot on the streets of Georgia.

Set among the country’s socialist-era tower blocks, the video is set to the rapper’s latest song, Iuda (Judas).

The single is expected to make an appearance on the rapper’s new album, which is reportedly already under production.

The film’s Trainspotting-style aesthetic is the brainchild of director Lado Kvatania, who has already made his mark on the New East music scene by shooting with Oxxxymoron, Tim Aminov and Biting Elbows.
