Aleksandr Tsikarishvili (b. 1983, Leningrad) is an artist working with “soil” painting, sculpture, and graphics. In his practice, Alexander explores art clichés and mutations of the Russian heritage. He is a co-founder of the North-7 experimental art group and Kunsthalle Numer Sieben gallery in Saint Petersburg. Aleksandr’s works are currently in the collections of M HKA (Antwerp), Aline Vidal and Antoine de Galber.
