Boris Shershenkov (b. 1990, Vladivostok), PhD, is a sound artist, musical instrument designer, and curator based in St Petersburg. In his practice, he combines modern techniques with media archaeological research to explore the relationship between the human and the technological. Through his artistic and curatorial projects, Shershenkov develops new methodologies in technological and sound art. As a musician, he is actively working in the areas of live electronics and electroacoustic improvisation, both solo and in collaboration with Russian and foreign musicians.
