Olesia Lavrinenko is an interdisciplinary artist hailing from Novorossiysk and currently based in Moscow. In her practice, she works with traditional media such as painting and ceramics, and with new media such as digital graphics. Lavrinenko explores the subjects of the mystical and the irrational, reflecting on the ways in which our physical bodies are related to the digital world. The artist is interested in the phenomenon of expectation and anxiety both in the analogue and the digital world.
