Maria Morina is an interdisciplinary artist based in St Petersburg. She works with a range of media from photography and video to documentary text. In her research and practice, Morina is broadly interested in art as a method for producing knowledge about the internal and external worlds. Her long-term projects often revolve around subjects such as space and power, and the process through which she chooses to explore them is usually collaborative. A winner of Luma Rencontres Dummy Book Award Arles and Prix Bayeux-Calvados Awards, she has shown her works at various galleries and museums in Russia and beyond.
