Check out the first full-length music video from Tajik instagram star Manizha

Dushanbe-born Moscow-based singer-songwriter Manizha has risen to fame for her innovative use of Instagram, posting short clips to create the world’s first Instagram music album — now Manizha has surprised fans with her first “traditional” music video.

Since early December Manizha has been delighting her over 200,000 followers on Instagram by releasing one song per week from her album Manuscript, accompanied by a DIY-style video. Last week she released the full album and yesterday premiered the music video for her song Sometimes (Inogda).

“Instagram for me is the most important platform. But I want to make full-length, bigger statements that do not fit into the framework of Instagram. I think it’s cool when you first learn to do things within a very rigid framework, and then go outside of them,” the singer told Afisha regarding her new album and video.
