SVRNY Tired
The latest video of band SVRNY (the duo Slava Rusova and Alex Walker) has a special place in the new wave of Russian queer music. It’s a gentle and dreamy documentation of an intimate relationship, but also a manifesto for visibility and representation of queer female love. It’s a hymn for all the LGBTQI+ youth discovering love in an environment which might be not so welcoming to it.
