This Hungarian smart bracelet uses the same tech as your Kindle to keep changing its look

Fitbit tracks your sleep pattern. Apple Watch answers emails. The Tago Arc, meanwhile, is a wearable focused on just one thing — looking as good as possible.

Created by Hungarian startup LIBER8, the smart bracelet uses e-ink — the same technology used in e-readers — to keep changing its look.

The bracelet’s design can be changed using a smartphone and app. There’s no battery inside, but a chip embedded in the bracelet picks up power from either your phone, or a wireless charging pad.

The team have already sparked global attention, smashing their $40,000 crowdfunding goal to raise more than $104,000 on Indiegogo.

Developers are now looking to use the same technology to create dynamic e-ink tiles, pattern-changing curtains, and a reusable security pass.
