Ukrainian club collective Kultura Zvuka has launched a series of DJ live streams for partygoers shunning public spaces to protect their communities amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Based in the northeastern city of Kharkiv, Kultura Zvuka — who run a music school, production studio, and a club night — said they wanted to bring the party to people’s homes via their new website.

Ukraine registered its first case of Covid-19 on 3 March. Five cases have been confirmed in the country so far, resulting in one death. Ukraine has currently closed its borders, as well schools and universities. Several cities, including Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk are shutting down all cafes, bars, gyms, shopping malls and beauty salons starting from 17 March.
