The PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv has launched a series of drawings which aim to hit three birds with one stone: reiterate hygiene rules during the pandemic, put a smile on your face, and introduce the public to works of art. The drawings range from Tracey Emin’s installation My bed, to Marina Abramovic and Ulay’s re-encounter at her performance The Artist Is Present.
“We have launched these educational and entertainment formats on our social media in order to introduce Ukrainians to art and keep their moods lifted during the pandemic,” PinchukArtCentre says.
The centre is also hosting the artworks of 20 shortlisted young Ukrainian contemporary artists for its 2020 Art Prize exhibition online. Visit it here.
