Listen to a 1-hour dark disco DJ set from a bell tower above Vilnius’ Old Town

Who: Vilnius-based DJ and musician Akvilina is performing live to mark the second season of Antidote: a project that sees independent Lithuanian artists organise open air events across the country. So far, they’ve worked inside medieval monuments, on top of Vilnius’s highest Soviet-era tower, in airports, and from the middle of the countryside to try and integrate electronic music into everyday Lithuanian culture.

What to expect: hypnotic electronic beats with elements of jazz and indie reverberating inside the bell tower of St John’s Church, a 15th-century landmark rising above the capital’s Old Town that forms part of Vilnius University.
