Whether by inking minimalist lines or recreating art’s grandmasters, Ukrainian tattoo studio 6:19 comes with a whole new vision for what a tattoo can be.

Founded in 2020, 6:19 looks like a contemporary art gallery, capturing the studio’s belief that a tattoo should be a work of art. Based inside a stripped-back, industrial design space in Kyiv, under the slogan “You Are Yours”, 6:19 represents seven Ukrainian tattoo artists: founder Ulyana Nesheva, as well as Karina Li, Anna Zelenskaya, Kat Babai, Vyacheslav Vverovskiy, Masha Erhart, and Dasha Soma.

“6:19 Studio is a tattoo studio with the mission to support local artists and to be an open space for art and self-expression,” the team says. In the future, they aim to create their own merch, and expand their list of collaborators.
