Check out the latest releases from Moscow’s Strelka Press — a series of pocket-size 20th century texts on the topic of the city and urban culture.
The first to appear in the series are Why a Man Should be Well Dressed by one of the first theorists and practitioners of modernist architecture, Adolf Loos, and Urbanism as a Way of Life, by one of the leaders of the Chicago school of sociology, Louis Wirth.
Next Strelka Press plans to publish The Disappearing City by Frank Lloyd Wright, City by Max Weber and Le Corbusier’s The New Spirit in Architecture, along with other important architectural texts.
The first book is already available at the Moscow, Republic and Tsiolkovsky bookshops, as well as internet store Ozone.
