Fancy a Rusiano coffee?

“Can I have an Americano please?” What you meant to say was Rusiano … at least according to Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

Mr Medvedev suggested that Americano coffee should be renamed “Rusiano coffee” at a meeting with the prime ministers of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan yesterday. Although Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency dubbed Mr Medvedev’s thought a “joke”, numerous other national news outlets have suggested that the prime minister was entirely serious.

Perhaps it would be wise to stick to tea for now.
