Black star: Russian rapper Timati to open boutique hotel

Russian rapper Timati has announced that he will open a boutique hotel within his Black Star brand.

According to the singer-songwriter, the Black Star Hotel will be located in the centre of Moscow, and will mark the beginning of the creation of a chain of hotels. The boutique hotel will have between 60 and 70 rooms, with construction beginning towards the end of 2018.

Timati launched Black Star in 2006 as a music label, launching a clothing range in 2010 and an internet radio station in 2015. This year Black Star launched an eponymous burger restaurant, as well as a barbershop and tattoo parlour.
